We believe...

...the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

...that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

...in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.

...that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

...in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.

...in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Our Constitution

As a result of our recently concluded ReFresh process, we have newly proposed Mission, Vision and Value statements. Please review these at: this link.  We will consider formally adopting these statements at the next quarterly meeting in April 2017.

Based on input received the finalized Mission, Vision and Value Statement was adopted on May 7, 2017 and can now be found here.

Elder Profile Document. It is important to note that this document includes elements of the current version of the IBCB Constitution with some procedural modifications. It is not our intent to modify the Constitution at this point, but some elements may indeed impact future revisions to the Constitution. The current elder board believes that this document reflects the current needs of IBCB, does not contradict the letter or intent of the Constitution and incorporates the policy recommendations of the Governance Committee which was established by the Transitional Team of 2016.  (please click here
